Description

Join us for a magical encounter with the reindeer beneath the northern skies. If you are chasing the perfect winter atmosphere, this full-day excursion to Malangen is the perfect combination of nature, culture and adventure.

Wander into a cosy reindeer enclosure surrounded by sweeping Arctic landscapes, mountain silhouettes and crisp, clean air. Meet the reindeer close up and learn about Nordic traditions and reindeer husbandry. Please note these are wild animals still being socialised — we cannot guarantee they will eat directly from your hands, so food is placed in large feeding containers and the reindeer approach us.

The adventure continues along snow-covered trails to Nikka Wilderness Camp, where we gather in the lavvu for authentic Sami food prepared on the fire, and storytelling about life in the North.
