What to expect

Meet at pier 12
Meet directly by the boat on the sea side of Kystens Hus, Stortorget 1.
Cruise to the fishing grounds
Sail through the Arctic fjord landscape aboard the historic Hermes II.
Fishing in alternating groups
All equipment is provided — 5–6 rods in action at a time so lines stay untangled.
Taste of the catch
With a catch of the day: fresh fish, butter and flatbread, northern Norwegian style.
Return to Tromsø
Warm up in the heated lounge as we cruise back to the harbour.

Description

On this trip you get to feel both the excitement of fishing and the peace and quiet on board. Catch the big fish, take in the views, explore the beautiful boat and get to know the exciting story of Hermes II.

And if the fishing goes well, you'll be served fresh fish, butter and flatbread in true northern Norwegian style. We have all the equipment you need — 5–6 rods can be in action at the same time, and we alternate the rods so everyone gets plenty of time to fish. There's a heated lounge below deck and warm suits for free use.

Duration: approx. 4.5 hours.
Max 5–6 fishing rods in use at the same time; fishing is organised in alternating groups.
