Arctic Fjord Cruise from Tromsø | Scenic Ramfjord & Fishing

As we leave the city of Tromsø behind, admire the skyline of the third largest city in the Arctic Circle in the morning light. We set course south to one of the most beautiful fjords in the region: Ramfjord, famous for its 90-degree corner halfway through. From the marine life that flourishes here to the historic Cold War facility of Olavsvern, the fjord is rich with stories.

Leaving Ramfjord, we continue to an old fishing facility on the island of Kvaløya, passing Ristraumen — a heavy current and well-known local fishing spot — with fantastic views over both Kvaløya and Malangen. At the fishing facility you step ashore and learn how the fishing industry shaped families, culture and the history of northern Norway.
